The Fiber Guild of the Allegheny Highlands is composed of a group of people living in Highland County & Bath County in VA, Pendleton County & Pocahontas County in WV, and surrounding areas, interested in sharing their love of the fiber arts.
Our crafts include handspinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, crochet, felting, needle-arts, rug making, quilting, and papermaking.
The purpose of the guild is to encourage creativity, education, and marketing of quality fiber and fiber products from area sources.
We welcome anyone interested in the fiber arts to join us!
We meet on the fourth Thursday of Jan., May, July, and Sept for business and fellowship, and often a short lesson (no March meeting because of the Maple Festival), and the fourth Sunday of Feb., April, June, Aug., and Oct. for workshops. Meeting times are 2 p.m. A single meeting for November/December is our Christmas Party.
